Sadly, Margot who used to run this account died in December, 2010, after a long struggle with cancer. I am Nicholas, her husband. As we used to share all our books and I wanted to keep our inventory available I am keeping this account active from now on.

7/Oct./2010 Normally, I clean up books before I send them: repair small tears, remove glue and stickers, etc. However, at the beginning of September one night I went to the emergency room and have only just got home. I'm not at my best.
All these little faults are not noted because they are just that: Little faults.


I generally post surface outside Europe, but I'm happy to receive books by surface, too.

This is a no-smoking home, but I accept books from everywhere, so I can't guarantee anything about smoke. We do have cats and dogs.

I am a member of BookCrossing as well as BookMooch. Many of my books will have BC labels, but they will be noted under condition notes. It isn't required, but I would greatly appreciate a journal entry on BookCrossing when you receive a book from me. It only takes a minute and you can do it anonymously, without registering. Also, there is no obligation to pass the book on. We BookCrossers thank you.

My books have generally been read and are in good shape. If there is something worth noting about their condition, it will be in the condition notes. If you are particularly worried about a book's condition, please email me before mooching.
