--- I try to send the mooched books out ASAP, but sometimes it may take few weeks due to my financial situation. (Update on 9th of February 2012: Still extremely busy: doing my Master's Thesis and working and doing exams...so finding enough time to go to post office may take few days. :D ) --- --- Yritän lähettää moochatut kirjat mahdollisimman pian, mutta välillä lähetys voi viivästyä taloudellisista syistä. About sending I try to send the books out as soon as possible and within a week from mooching at the latest. BUT sometimes my financial situation is pretty tight, so I might have to wait for the next salary to come before sending the book(s) out...so please be patient. I'll send books to Europe by airmail, i.e. the fastest way. When the package is going to somewhere outside of Europe I have to use surface mail and that takes longer time to arrive. I'm sorry about this, but the cost difference between airmail and surface mail on outside-Europe-area is huge! I'll always tell you when you can expect the book to reach you. When you receive the BM message "Your book was sent, etc.", there on the same message I'll tell you the approx time of arrival (i.e. the time it should take that the book gets to you) given to me by Finland's postal service. On some books' condition notes there might be a request for you to mooch more than just that one book...it is because that particular book is so thick that it'll cost me same amount to send two (or even three) books as it'd to just send the one. So please, if on condition notes you see a text: "This is a thick book, please mooch (if possible) at least one other book from me to be send in the same package.", please do that if possible. But this is just a wish, so you don't have to mooch more than the one book, though I'd really appreciate a double-mooch! Silloin tällöin rahatilanteeni on kuitenkin melko tiukka, ja saatan joutua odottamaan seuraava tiliä ennen kuin postitus on mahdollista. Pyydän siis olemaan kärsivällinen. Lähetän kirjat Suomeen ja Euroopan alueelle nopeimmalla mahdollisella tavalla, eli yleensä lentopostina (1. luokan kirjeenä tai pakettina). Euroopan ulkopuolelle lähetän maateitse (eli 2. luokkana), sillä hintaero luokkien välillä Euroopan ulkopuolelle lähetettäessä on usein kaksinkertainen. Ilmoitan aina kirjan lähettämisen jälkeen vastaanottajalle milloin hän voi kirjaa odottaa saapuvaksi. Ajat ovat luonnollisesti Itellan antamia arvioaikoja. Ilmoitus on BookMoochin vakioviestissä "Your book was sent" (kirjasi on lähetetty) eli kannattaa lukaista se viesti läpi kun se tulee. Joidenkin kirjojen kuntokertomuksessa voi olla merkintä ("This is a thick book, please mooch (if possible) at least one other book from me to be send in the same package."), jossa pyydän moochaamaan tämän kirjan lisäksi vähintään yhden muun kirjan. Tämä johtuu kirjan suuresta koosta -> voin samoilla postimaksuilla lähettää yhden tai jopa kaksikin kirjaa lisää. Jos siis kirjan kuntomerkinnässä on tuo em. englanninkielinen tekstinpätkä, olisi suotavaa moochata minulta toinenkin kirja. Tämä on kuitenkin vain pyyntö, eli mikään pakko ei ole moochata enempää kuin yksi kirja - vaikkain olisin kyllä kovin kiitollinen tuplamoochista. Thank you. Kiitokset. My info I'm 30 year old university student from Oulu, Finland. My major is information studies; minors literature, classical archaeology and media science. I work at the University library as a studen librarian few nights per month. I love books and reading, and read (in both English and Finnish) pretty much anything that happens to interest me at the time. My favourite fiction genres are fantasy and romance (especially paranormal and contemporary romance), but pretty much anything goes when right mood hits! Tietoja minusta Olen 30-vuotias yliopisto-opiskelija, pääaineenani on informaatiotutkimus ja sivuaineina mm. kirjallisuutta, klassillista arkeologiaa ja mediatiedettä. Työskentelen opiskelun ohessa yliopiston kirjastossa opiskelijapäivystäjänä muutaman illan kuukaudessa. Kirjat ja lukeminen on todella lähellä sydäntä ja luen sekä englanniksi että suomeksi ja lähes kaikkea mahdollista. Suosikki genrejä kaunokirjallisuudessa ovat ehdottomasti fantasia ja romantiikka, ja romantiikasta etenkin nykyaikaan sijoittuva sekä paranormaali ovat lähellä sydäntä. Mutta tosiaan kaikenlainen kirjallisuus menee, silloin kuin oikea fiilis iskee.
