I HAVE A CAT! Many of the hard covers came from a house with a dog.

I get many of my books from used sales, so I don't know where they have been.

I mark sent when they are packed and labeled, they go out that day or the next postal service day.

You may have a Book Crossing sticker in the book. I don't see the issue.

Many of my hard covers are book club editions. I will try to note it in conditions.

Bio:
I have a larger amount of books received than sent but this is because of the greater cost of International sending. Half of these sends have been Angel sends, meaning I did not actually receive a book for myself. I received it and sent it on to an international destination. Look at the ratio for a more accurate cost basis of books received/sent, and consider if a person is/has been an Angel.

I am a stay at home computer techie and mother of two, preschooler 5 and teenager 15, highschooler. I have a Math B.S. with computer science track, and a Spanish B.A. with a minor in International Relations.

Finding time to read is difficult but one of my pleasures. I read in Spanish to keep my Spanish up and try to read in Italian too but find it harder (even though I speak it better).

I share a PBS account with my husband but have never had a conflict with a book having been requested at both sites and try to delete them ASAP. Hope I never do, and guess I would send to the first to ask unless it was an international moocher. I'm partial to International mooches. I lived Internationally and know how hard some book are to get at a reasonable price.

I am a member of book crossing, and I would love to see a book go around the world. I use the USPS Shipping Assistant to print the delivery confirmation from home, it is quite easy, 19 cents is well worth the peace of mind for me.

I have a lot of older mysteries, from my Grandmother, many of them book club editions. They usually are 8.5x6.75 inches, varying width. Makes for easy shelving. I will try to state if the condition is a book club edition. A few of them are missing dust jackets and I will state that and remind you of it before sending. I have many retail Hard Backs also.

I have been sending more than 20 books a month, therefore I figure I can and should give a little to the site. I cannot justify not giving at least an equivalent amount as it cost to send a book to the site.

Photo is at a book signing for Sherrilyn Kenyon, aka. Kinley MacGregor. Was really fun. Friend got a T-shirt, I got a pin and all got posters. She's a funny and personable woman.
