I don't smoke or have pets. I do have children, but they're not allowed near my books :) I won't send any book unless it is in decent condition. By which I mean: I tolerate slight folding of sleeves and spine, but none of the books I send will have: * Pages falling out (because the spine is broken) or missing
* Writing/marks on the main body text
* A cover damaged to the point where you can't read the spine etc. If sending overseas, I usually use surface mail, so books may take a while to arrive. I don't like receiving bookcrossing.com books. While bookcrossing is a noble institution, I sometimes like to keep books, and don't want the burden of having to pass them on if I don't want to. So if I request a book from you which is from bookcrossing, please let me know before accepting my request. (I'd prefer it if everyone listed a book as a bookcrossing one in condition notes, but I don't rule the world.)
