adding a book to wishlist.
Hi, help please. I've tried to add the new Trisha Ashley book, the Magic of Christmas to my wishlist. Have found the book ok. on Amazon and clicked on add it to wishlist, but even though I've done this several times (deleting and then trying again) it keeps coming up as Trisha Ashley 6 untitled, and can't get the title to work. (no problems with bookswap incidentally) Can anyone advise me. Thanks, Rose.

Yeah...that is strange. Unfortunately, regular members cannot do anything to change erroneous book information except maybe petition admin to do something. Inasmuch as the ISBN of the book is linked to the "Untitled 6" page (and because someone has already made a comment about the actual name in the "Review" section of the page, I would just wishlist it as listed and hope for the best...good luck!

You might try just using "Magic of Christmas" + Ashley. to see if you get a more complete listing. Or use Trisha instead of Ashley. Last night I was looking for books by Michael Pearce, who's written a couple of dozen mysteries, so I entered "Michael Pearce" into the Amazon search blank - the lowest one on the page after you get the message that nothing could be found on BM when you've tried searching using the blank at the top of every page. What I got was one book by him that seemed to be in German, so I tried Pearce + Dead, which is a word in a lot of his titles, and from that got the Amazon listings I wanted. You just have to keep trying different combinations and sometimes you'll get a breakthrough to the right listing so you can add it. Good luck.

There are quite a few books in the database that are Untitled # some author. The books come from Amazon that way. I think it's because Amazon lists coming releases that way some time when the publisher hasn't decided on a title and someone puts them on their wishlist. Once the title is decided it changes on Amazon, but the listing in the Bookmooch database is the same. Go ahead and use that listing on your wishlist. It will show and you will get a notification if any copies are available. I just got one today for an untitled #. The worse ones are when the publisher had an early title but changed it by printing time. Those entries are very confusing.
