I have just added a pile more books to my inventory, but I also just posted a pile, so my budget needs a break from postage costs. Please request books but be aware there will be a delay with posting them. I have no pets and don't smoke. Most of my books are already second hand when they get to me, so I can't be sure about former owners. A mouldy or smelly book wouldn't have made it into my house, so I won't be passing any on. I would prefer to send more than one book in a parcel to make the postage cost worthwhile. (I understand from the wiki that is an OK thing to request in Australia because our domestic postage costs are relatively high) Please be patient about waiting for replies from me, as I do have episodes when I am not able to keep up with email etc. I will keep you informed if there is a delay with posting or other problem. I'm just starting with bookmooch - it seems a great idea and I'm excited about getting involved. I love to read, and do so a lot. I mean a lot. I have a disability and spend a lot of time in bed or resting and books make that a much more positive experience. I have too many books and too few shelves and I'm hoping Bookmooch will help keep that problem under control - at least one book has to be given away for every one that comes in! I look forward to "meeting" some others who love to read and share books as I do. |
