Although I try to put condition notes on every book that's not in very good condition, at times I rush and miss this step. If you're concerned about the condition of a book, please ask and I will look carefully and report on condition before sending the book.

Right now I'm working on lightening my book pile. For every 3 books you mooch (in the US), I'll smooch back 1 credit when I know the books have been received. For every book after 6 books you mooch (outside the US), I'll smooch back 2 credits. In both cases, the more books you request, the better! Ours is a non-smoking home.

Although I have always gladly sent books internationally (as long as I can send 1st class or use the flat-rate envelope from the US postal service and you mooch more than six book, preferably even more), I'm having trouble with printing labels for overseas packages so I ask that you ask me before requesting books. Thank you for your patience as this is new to me. I welcome the opportunity to help spread books worldwide so please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Bio:
I'm the later-in-life mama of an 9-yr old son. We live in rural Virginia where my husband grew up and where there are very few bookstores. Thankfully we have a good library, a terrific regional book-sale, and I've found this site. I work from our home as a writer and business analyst (focused on collaborating and learning together using social media), and spend as much time as I can playing and learning with our son... oh, and reading! I'm most interested these days in books about cognitive development, social media, non-traditional education, worklife integration, experiential learning, complexity theory, and distributed leadership. My wishlist contains books for everyone in our local playgroup so please don't be overwhelmed by all that's there. We're an eclectic crowd.
