Status message: I mail books once a week, usually on Saturday, when I'm off work. Most of my books are in great condition as they have been read with great care. Some though, were given to me by other people who were not equally careful, and in that case I clearly state the condition of the book in the info notes.

Bio: I LOVE reading, I love books, the particular hushed atmosphere of bookshops, I love flipping through the pages of new books, inhaling the smell of freshly printed paper (some of you by now might be thinking: "she's weird!") Oh well... I might as well tell you that I can easily spend 2 good hours in a bookshop, with the same sense of happiness and excitement of a kid at Toys R US! :-D
My favourite authors are: Katherine Mansfield, Emily Dickinson, the Brontes, Edith Wharton, Isabel Allende, Jane Austen, Oscar Wilde, John Steinbeck, Bill Bryson, Khaled Hosseini, Henry James, Francis Scott Fitzgerald and Theodore Dreiser.
Give me a cup of Starbucks passion ice tea, a comfy armchair and a BOOK and you'll make me happy! :-D
I tend to look for books from good to excellent condition. So sometimes I'll ask you about the condition of your copy before mooching it. In the past I forgot to ask and I got a couple of books that were massively underlined and highlighted and I just couldn't read them. Sorry...I'm picky, bear with me.
