Bio:
I am completely unfuzzy about the condition of books I want to read. All I want is a book that is in a readable condition with no lose or missing pages that doesn't fall apart the moment I pick it up.
The corollary of that is that many of the books in my inventory are not exactly in a new-ish condition, either. They can have creases, scratches on the cover, yellowed edges or other minor defects. Some of them might have been mooched back and forth a couple of times already. I usually don't bother to list all that when I add them to my inventory (sorry for that, I'm just lazy). So if you want to mooch a book from me and are one of those people who prefer their books in pristine condition: please ask me before you mooch. Don't complain afterwards, saying I didn't warn you. thanks. :-)

Also, many of the books I give away here are registered at Bookcrossing.
What that means is just that they each have a sticker inside the front jacket with a BCID-number, which I would ask you to leave in place, in case you ever decide to give the book away again, so that another person might at some time make a journal entry. If you request one of these books you are not required to make a journal entry yourself (even though I would appreciate if you did) or anything else. Just enjoy the books. ;o)
When you are finished going through my inventory here, you can have a look at my Bookcrossing bookshelf.

I am happy to send books to every country in the world, but since I am unemployed at the moment I can only afford to use surface mail. So if you live overseas they will usually take a couple of weeks to reach you. If you are in a hurry, I hear Amazon usually delivers the next day. ;o)

Für die Deutschen unter uns:
Meine neue Castle-Fansite - das ist Fernsehen und nichts buchbezogenens, aber ich würde mich freuen, wenn ein paar Leute vorbeischauen. :-)
