Status message:
Although my status is set to ASK, I'm nearly always able to send books abroad, although I do have to limit the number of international mooches I commit to each month, due to rising postal costs. I always send international mooches by surface mail, so please be aware that it could take a while for the book to reach you.

I'm expecting a baby around the end of July/beginning of August, and while this makes me all the more eager to get rid of extra books, I'm also struggling with morning sickness and can't make it to the post office as often as I'd like. If I've told you I'll post a book the next day and don't come through, I apologise, but I do have a reasonable excuse!

Home page:

I'm a Christian housewife, aspiring romance novelist, editor and book reviewer (over at I recently graduated from the University of St Andrews with a degree in English and Modern History. I currently live with my husband in Edinburgh, where we're expecting our first child!

I collect L. M. Montgomery novels, so please let me know if you have any as I still have quite a few on my wishlist! I also collect Babysitters Club books and am always on the lookout for them, especially the UK editions that I grew up with.

All of my books have detailed condition notes, but if you have any questions please ask me. I do not have pets or smoke.

I use bubble-padded jiffy bags for sending books in, generally second hand ones. Please reuse or recycle them! If you're sending books abroad, please don't just mail them in a paper envelope--at least wrap them in cling-film or a freezer bag to prevent them getting wet! It rains a lot in the UK, and I've received a lot of torn or tattered envelopes in the mail.
