ratio of books mooched
Hi, can someone advise me about the above please. I seem to recall, but can't find details now, that there was a certain rule that if you weren't giving enough books out in relation to those you were getting, you were no longer allowed to mooch more books. For some time now, I have been mooching at a much faster rate than books mooched from me, and wonder what happens when I reach that point, whenever it is. I'm a bit concerned as there is obviously no way I can force other members to mooch from me and am a bit wary of mooching books on my wishlist at all now, in case I reach that point and then cant get books I really want. thanks, Rose.

It's if your mooch ratio reaches 2:1. Your mooch ratio is 1.24: 1 so you've got nothing to worry about, mooch away! Also, overall you've sent more books than you've received. Don't forget that as well as costing more points, international mooches affect your ratio more, so if you start to get towards the ratio level that is something you might want to consider (although I know it's usually a simple case of where the book is available).

I've just had a look at the explanation of your mooch ratio and you'd have to spend 184 more points than you've got, without giving any more books, to go over your mooch ratio. Unless something changes dramatically you're never going to go over your mooch ratio and that's true of most members. The ratio limit is mostly there to stop scammers.
