I am trying to add a book I own to my inventory but I can only find hardback editions of the book to add. My book is a paperback edition. I also was trying to post an earlier edition of a book that is not coming up in the list to add. Should I just put my book on by the closest edition and then in the condition section state that my book is NOT the pictured/listed edition?- or is there some way to add an addition? Thanks!
Which way did you try to add the book, through doing a bookmooch search? If that was the case try listing it through the add feature.If it doesn't come up first time there is also a drop down box to the right of the box where you add the ISBN where you can choose which Amazon database to search, as for example, a book may show up on amazon.co.uk but not amazon.com. If you've already tried all that then listing it under a different edition and stating in the condition notes that it is a different edition is fine.
I would also recommend searching through Amazon from the browse tab and using the ISBN. That is the best way to find the exact edition you are looking for.
