adding book to wishlist(trisha ashley - magic of christmas).
Thanks everyone for the advice, tried them all with no success, so will just have to leave it as is and hope for the best.
Meantime, strange things still keep happening - had trouble getting "more Holmes for the holidays" by maxim jakubowski onto my wishlist, and it eventually came up, but in a wierd form.(as in previous postings) Logged on today and it is there now in normal format but with different author, and so is the prequel "holmes for the holidays" which I'd originally put on under maxim j. without any problem - and I've not done anything to alter either of them. Most odd!!

It seems as if anthologies often come up especially strangely. I've had several appear, using the Amazon link, that show the name of one of the authors of a story as the author of the whole thing, rather than showing the editor's name (like Jakubowski). Sometimes, by trying out different combinations of part of the title, a plus sign, then part of the author/editor's name, I've found one that's correct. The nice thing is that, since we have an unlimited wish list here, we can add any or all of them and so feel more secure that we'll be notified when a copy becomes available.

I agree with Margaret. When it comes to a book with a funny listing, I tend to wishlist every related edition I can find just in case the database doesn't recognize a related edition. You just have to remember to delete them all when you find a copy or you might end up mooching a duplicate.
