I shipped a book to the United Kingdom from the United States. The customs form has a tracking number, but I think that it's only for within the US. Is it only trackable within the US and do you think I should give the member the number?

I send a bunch of magazines to the UK and the actual price astonished me. I can not believe it costs so much to ship books internationally.
