I find it disconcerting when people ask and I say yes and put the book aside and then there is no request and I have this book sitting on the "outgoing" shelf and I have forgotten who asked and by this time the reservation has expired. Why ask for a book if you don't want ti?
If you know your e-mail provider sometimes put BM mails in the spam folder, you can easily create a filter, or white list, to make sure it always arrives in your regular inbox. If you don't know how to do it, there's always help from the provider (a section in the website or a phone number).
