'Lost' journals arrive - now a dilemma
A bit of advice needed please, in May 2012 I requested two journals, in Oct 2012 I marked them as lost as the owner insisted they had been sent but they hadn't arrived with me. Today they arrived, 18 months after me first requesting them. The package is in very good, clean condition so I very much doubt that they have spent a year and a half globetrotting. Unfortunately I can't make out a date on the postmark but am able to ascertain that they came from the person I tried to mooch them from initially. My problem is this; whilst i am happy to write in them, I am not currently in a position to send them on again internationally. I'm currently set to 'my country only' and have no intention of changing this just because one member has chosen to honour a long gone request and shift them on to me. Neither do I want them hanging around at home for months on end waiting for someone in the UK to mooch them. What should I do?
