Academic survey for BM
I've been working with Shun Ye, an academic at the University of Maryland, for the past 2 1/2 years, helping him with his analysis of BookMooch. Yes, it's really been that long (!) and I've kept at it because Shun has had some really interesting insights, and not shied away from the hard work of really understanding the complicated data of real books being traded by real people. At any rate, Shun asked me to mention his Survey that he'd like moochers to take, which you can find here:

update: Shun said he'd be happy to share some insights with the BM community, but wants to hold off for now, lest it taint the survey results, which are being used to verify the preliminary results.
