Always looking for magic books for magicians
Hi, I have been an "amateur" magician for 15+ years. (When I use the term magic here I mean card tricks, coin manipulations, general sleight of hand, stage illusions, etc as opposed to occult, wiccan stuff.) Many magic books that are published by magicians for other magicians usually do not have ISBN numbers. They are published in very low quantities and are distributed through a relatively small network of magic shops rather than mainstream book distributors. Sometimes there is a niche magic publisher listed such as L&L Publishing, A1 Multimedia, The Miracle Factory, Kaufman & Green Publishing, Kaufman and Company, Hermetic Press, Camirand Magic Academy, or just self published by the magician directly. (Although this has changed somewhat over the years and there are some fairly descent magic books readily available in mainstream book retailers now.) I am always looking for any of these rarer magic books when they come available. I suspect people probably would never even list them on bookmooch since they don't have ISBN numbers and that makes it more difficult.
