Status message:
I have been away from Bookmooch for quite a while as I went through a period of just not being able to get into any books......a real wall. I am now back and hope to be adding more books over time. I am afraid I will not be able to send hardback books abroad as the postal cost is now getting prohibitive. Paperbacks I will endeavour to send abroad as all will be sent within the UK. Its good to be back and reading. Any books sent to the US will go surface mail so may take some time to arrive.....please remember this before marking a book as lost. Books sent to Europe will also go the cheapest rate so may take time to get to you....Books inside the UK will be send 2nd class.

I don't smoke or have pets so the majority of my books are fine but I do get books from other sources and I can't guarantee that they will be from smoke/pet-free homes. I will do my best to put in if there are any other smells, etc
I generally re-use packaging unless the book is going abroad and I then use plastic envelopes.

Bio:
I used to be a nurse but was retired due to ill health after I had an accident at work. I love to read and am a real bookaholic. I did paranormal investigations for years and the group I founded with my friend is still going but I had to give it up due to the accident.
I collect cookbooks and recipes, bookmarks and books on the paranormal and true ghost stories. I also love travelling to other countries.
