Status message: Overseas mooches go surface mail if outside Europe, so may take about 13 weeks to arrive. European mooches generally (though not exclusively) go airmail and take about a week to arrive.
Books are from a non smoking and pet free home but as I tend to buy them from charity shops or acquire them through Bookcrossing, I can't guarantee they've never been near animals or smokers (but I don't acquire obviously smoky or smelly books)
All books are registered on bookcrossing.com and will have a label or bookplate inside. Spines may be creased. If condition is important to you, please ask for further details.
Because of my huge points surplus, I'm unlikely to accept overseas mooches for any but the most uncommon books. I'm more likely to mail books to non-English speaking nations.
Bio: I'm a forty-something Communications Manager for a national charity and recently completed a degree in Literature and Creative Media.
I have been addicted to books since I was very small, and can read fast!
My inventory is currently down until I've used some of my huge points surplus.
My especial interest is crime fiction - the subject of my dissertation was Ian Rankin's Rebus novels - and I will read most authors in the genre, from hard boiled to cosy!
When not reading (or working), I stitch, I knit, I spend time with my fiance (walking, geocaching and visiting historic houses are favourite days out for us)and I practice yoga intermittently.
All books in the inventory are registered on Bookcrossing.com, and are often being given away for specific time-limited challenges or to raise awareness for various causes. As such, the inventory changes often and sometimes at short notice. It would be appreciated if you could acknowledge receiving the book on Bookcrossing.com but it is not compulsory!
I mail books overseas mainly by surface mail, although airmail is an option for Europe, as prices can be very similar. Surface mail can take up to 13 weeks to arrive. Within the UK, books go Second Class.

All books are registered on bookcrossing.com and will have a label or bookplate with a BCID. You do not have to register or join bookcrossing, but it would be appreciated if you leave the label/bookplate intact. The book is yours to decide what to do with - keep, release, mooch, sell - up to you!
