If you live anywhere between New York city and Richmond, Va. or east of Pittsburgh, Pa., you should know about the world's only FREE book distribution service; www.bookthing.org. It is located in Baltimore and is open from 9am to 6pm every Saturday and Sunday year-round. All books are donated for free distribution. They have about 200,000 books on the shelves at any time. They give away 5,000 to 10,000 books per week. It is located in north-central Baltimore off Md. Rt. 45. It would be best to visit early on Saturday morning.

Widely Read, mostly non-fiction. Most moving novel read recently; The Time Traveler's Wife. Most moving non-fiction work read; The Forgotten Soldier, Guy Sajer. Most moving aviation book read; Voyager, Yeager & Rutan. Have large collections of; War for Southern Independence (Civil War), George Washington history (Mt. Vernon is definatly worth a visit), Aviation history. Also read much Nature, Science and Erotica.
