| (12 years ago) | I didn't see Marjorie Liu mentioned, but she's one of the first paranormal writers I read. Her Dirk & Steele series is good, but I really like her new series about the tattoo covered demon hunter Maxine--dark but really entertaining.

I really enjoy reading anything by Richelle Mead, her Georgia Kincaid series is on my keeper shelf.
Shelly Laurenston is another of my faves, I love her Dragon Kin series. Tough heroines, witty writing style. Great stuff!
