| (9 months, 4 days ago) | Carol, YOU need to read it. They are called the "Heku". Three Clans that are at war..Constantly...until Emily also known as "The Winchester"
Her smell and the taste of her blood is really something special. Grylie, I am sooo hooked! The first 2 books are free...READ IT!!

- Syntoria | | (9 months, 6 days ago) | What? Did someone say "Vampire Story"? What's it about?
- Carol | | (9 months, 13 days ago) | Thanks Cara, you are most welcome. At last, I will have someone to talk about this with. I have all of the rest but the last three. This is sooo different from any "vampire story."

You can get them for $2.99 each from Smashwords.com. The earlier books in the series are free. Thanks for sucking me in to yet another series;)

| (1 year ago) | I didn't see Marjorie Liu mentioned, but she's one of the first paranormal writers I read. Her Dirk & Steele series is good, but I really like her new series about the tattoo covered demon hunter Maxine--dark but really entertaining.
- Denise | | (1 year ago) | Just added 4 Gena Showalter books in a slipcase to my inventory. Prefer to send them to one person thought I'd give people a heads up in relevant forums.

- Yaffa | | (2 years ago) | You are welcome April.
- Carol | | (2 years ago) | Thank you, Carol. I will definitely check her out!!
- April | | (2 years ago) | Hi Teresa S. can you tell me a lil' about the Library Thing and Goodread? Is it like BookMooch where you can swap books?
- Carol | | (2 years ago) | I have read Laurell K. Hamilton's "Danse Macabre" and could not put it down. So, April if you like her books, then you would like Keri Arthur books as well. Check it out, though i don't have any in my inventory.
- Carol | | (2 years ago) | Oh my God. I CANNOT believe that no one has mentioned the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton. It's THE BEST series I have ever read. So much so, I had to go out and get a tattoo so that I could keep a part of it with me always. You won't read of a better, more awesome heroine anywhere. Truth be told though, perhaps you should read all the other suggestions first because everything else pales to this series and I felt so sad when I knew I had no more to read. I am very impatiently waiting for the next book to come out this summer. I think it's book number 20, so you know you will have plenty to keep you entertained for awhile.
- April | | (2 years ago) | Is Alyson Noel's paranormal books any good? I'v not ready any of her books, is she a new author?
- Carol | | (2 years ago) | Christine Feehan's Dark series are very addictive, once you start reading you can't put it down.
- Carol | | (2 years ago) | Nora Roberts has a Trilogy of the Three Sisters Islands. A bit of witchcraft and astral travel.
- Guera | | (2 years ago) | Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld and Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series are probably my two favorites. :)
- Whitney | | (2 years ago) | I have a lot of favorites. Right now I'm hooked on the Black Dagger Brotherhood books by JR Ward and not romance but Urban Fantasy: The Dresden File books by Jim Butcher. I'm in love with Harry the Wizard.
I have not been able to get into MaryJanice Davidson. I love Christine Feehan.
- Msright | | (2 years ago) | My first five Authors: Ilona andrews, Patricia Briggs, Nalini Singh, J.R. Ward and Sherrilyn Kenyon. My second 10 Authors: Karen Marie Moning, Christine Feehan, Lynsay Sands, C.T. Adams & Cathy Clamps, Carrie Vaughn, Karen Chance, Rachel Vincent, Lara Adrian, Vicki Petterson and Katie MacAlister. and so on...and can still see some Authors mentioned that unknown to me...I should checked them up and add to my wishlist, thanks.
- ylef | | (2 years ago) | It is really hard to choose, but some of my favourites are: Kelley Armstrong, Keri Arthur, Katie MacAlister, MaryJanice Davidson.Of the ones already mentioned I like Charlaine Harris, Jim Butcher, Jeaniene Frost, Lynsay Sands, Rachel Caine and Ilona Andrews.

I really enjoy reading anything by Richelle Mead, her Georgia Kincaid series is on my keeper shelf.
Shelly Laurenston is another of my faves, I love her Dragon Kin series. Tough heroines, witty writing style. Great stuff!
