Please note the bottom part of my bio. I'm placing a couple of small restrictions on my titles to moochers. Bio:
I have a number of books that when I look back, I realize I will never read them again and would like to give them good homes. I've spent a long time collecting pop culture and sci-fi novels and I recently came to terms with the fact that I will not be going back and reading them. I am more interested today in becoming a more successful person and would like to own books which reflect my new goals. My home is a smoke-free home. I have three cats, however. Every attempt is made to keep cats away from the books, but please be aware of this if you have allergies. If my books originally had jackets or slipcovers with them, I still have them on the book. When I ask for books, I kind of like to know their condition before mooching. Please bear with me, book conditions are important to me! I am more than happy to ship most of my books anywhere in the world as my main concern is making sure my books go to a good home. However, I do have a number of either oversized, or unusually heavy hardcover books which, due to the cost of shipping, I am not able to send outside the U.S. or possibly Canada. I will list under each individual title if there is anything I am unable or unwilling to send internationally. If I didn't mark it, have at it. I've now given away over 200+ books all around the world. I'm adding a couple of conditions to giving books away:
1. If I accept your mooch request and the email is returned as email address unknown, I will rescind the acceptance. I've given a couple of books away and the people simply disappeared.
2. I'm not sure it is fair for me to send you a book promptly if you are delaying sending some out yourself over 90 days. I try to get my books out in less than a week. My job and my schedule allow me to do this, but I know not everyone can. But if after 3 months a moocher cannot mail out a book, then I feel there are others who are more prompt that should have a chance at my inventory. I've given away many books and asked for very few.
