I saw aeris' new journal and decided to list one that seems to fit with that idea, whilst being different! As the daughter of librarians and coming from a family of book-collectors and my SO and me being BookMoochers we’ve had our share of bookplates over the years. This journal is for your photocopies, drawings and stories about bookplates. And…even an actual bookplate if you have one you like that you’re still willing to part with. My younger son loved bookplates and had a really nice set of bright colourful designs. Also many of mine are reproductions from old books we have with bookplates in them.
Use as many pages as you need but don’t alter any one elses work. Please make your entry and relist within two weeks. If you don’t mind relisting when you receive the journal (in order to speed the process up) please do. PLEASE RELIST ONLY ON BOOKMOOCH and notify me when the journal is full. If you haven’t read the rules and information on journaling yet, please visit this URL. http://bookmoochjournals.com/
Kar-bie (USA: LA) (2012/02/08): Good idea! I really like the Welsh bookplates. Note to Gill: The journal page with my first entry is only held in halfway - it was punched on the edge of the paper.
Bookmooch Journal Library Charity (Heard and Mc Donald Islands) (2014/03/30): This is a BMJournal not a regular book. You should be a friend of the BM Library bmjl http://bookmooch.com/m/bio/bmjl If you wish to join the project, type bmjl into the friend request block. A BMJournal is not yours to keep. You mooch it, make an entry within two weeks of receiving it and relist it by the same number. Before sending it on make sure the person requesting is also a friend of bmjl by checking their friend list for the logo.
