A wonderful sea story, filled with interesting facts about the Dutch and British Merchant ships and the British navy. Lots of drama and catastrophe emphasizing the precariousness of war at sea. Much seemed autobiographical. This paperback has been rolled a little, fair condition overall, looks like coffee stain on part of the spine and back. It's a little bit yellowed with age. Still readable but be sure you are asking for the story, not a specimen! |
