Roundup of the Street Rovers: Charles Loring Brace studied divinity and theology at the liberal Union Theological Seminary. He was drawn to New York because it was a hotbed of American Protestantism and social activity. He was most renowned for starting the orphan train movement in the 1800's. Blinded by the Shining Path: Romulo Saune, while translating the New Testament, realized that many of his people would never be able to read. Therefore, he began recording the Scriptures on tape. He was the first to dub the JESUS video into Quechua, produce Quechua radio programs, translate the Scriptures into Quechua and set up a recording studio for Quechua musical groups. Risking the Forbidden Game: Maude Cary worked for 50 years as a single missionary to Morocco. Some would say that Maude Cary was in Moral Rebellion for preaching without the covering of a male leader. Exiled to Red River: Chief Spokane Garry was sent by his father to be trained at the Christian school so he can spread the Good News among the Indian nations. Caught in the Rebel Camp: Frederick Douglass was an ordained minister of the African Methodist Episcopal Church who believed in freedom for all. He formed the 54th Massachusetts Infantry, a black regiment during the Civil War.
