Reviews: Crystal (Canada) (2008/04/17):
This is probably one of my favourite books ever. I first read it when I was a sophmore in high school. I didn't bring a book to read in english class and my teacher practically threw it on me and told me I'll love it. I wasn't too sure about it - I'd never really expressed any like in science fiction (more or less my brother's thing, I liked historical novels), but I read it anyways. I think it was the language and the overall wit that really hooked me into the book. The footnotes, funny little last minute additions, really help carry the overall tone of the story. Its just an enjoyable read. Anyone who likes Monty Python's sketches or English humour will really really enjoy this. I practically rec. it to anyone that I know now and I don't think I've ever heard one bad review!
