Description: Product Description
Full-color illustrated Little Golden book with music and Read-Along narrative. This 24 page softcover Read-Along Book was published by Golden Press (Western Publishing Co) with a 7" 33 1/3 RPM vinyl record recorded by Disneyland Records.

This is the delightful and educational tale of the Little Engine as "retold" by Watty Piper and illustrated by George and Doris Hauman with narrative and song by Larry Groce. Someone named "Watty Piper" never existed; it is a pseudonym for Arnold Munk of Platt & Munk and was used on numerous other children's books originally published by the firm.

Read-Along Book and Record sets give your child a head start in learning to read.
