This book is an interesting catalogue of American Film & Video: Whitney Biennal, one of the three components that made up the Electronic Undercurrents exhibition that was held September 7 November 30, 1996 at Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen, Denmark. There are only 1000 copies of the book.It begings with an essay called Models of Interaction: Film and Video in a New Media by John G. Hanhardt, who is a curator at Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, USA. Rest of the book consists of short synopsis' of the videos in the exhibition, including works by Stan Brakhage, Todd Haynes, Jim Jarmusch and Tom Kalin.
