m.kayla (USA: OH) (2009/05/01): I did like It
ncTwinsMom (USA: NC) (2011/07/06): Book Blurb: I had been asleep for hours when Dad's voice woke me. "I've always wanted to live in the woods," he said. I looked out of the car window and saw the cold waters of the sea just before we turned into the dense woods. The road ahead looked like a dark green tunnel, and even from the car I could sense a spooky kind of quiet that the canopy of trees cast on everything below. As I stared up and watched the leaves rushing past, I knew that Mom and Dad were taking us to a special place - at last.Salma's parents have bought an old hostel and plan to open a bakery there. Salma is happy in her new home. From her room she overlooks a field with beautiful horses that are specially trained for stunts in movies. Ryan, the boy next door, is drop-dead gorgeous. Could life be better? Then scary things start to happen; doors open and close by themselves, ice-cold drafts appear out of nowhere, someone or something lurks in the forest. What's going on?
