Description: Product Description
What does it take for lasting change to take root in your life? If you've ever tried, failed, and wondered why, you need How People Change. This book explains the biblical pattern for change in a clear, practical way you can apply to the challenges of daily life. But change involves more than a biblical formula: you will see how God is at work to make you the person you were created to be. That powerful, loving, redemptive relationship is at the heart of all positive change you experience.
Reviews: Lotsabooks (USA: CA) (2009/07/13):
This is an okay book - another in the line of "self-help" books that are out there, problem-based and happiness-based. It should never be regarded as akin to scripture, or as an impetus for a holy life - that is the function of the indwelling Holy Spirit, Who convicts of sin at His good pleasure, and for His glory. I didn't finish the book - too much psychology for me - but it does offer some interesting insights into human nature. Lots of "case studies", so abundant in the Nouthetic Movement. Put into its proper perspective, it's all right.
