ISPs can leverage their existing data infrastructure and subscriber bases to deliver carrier-class long distance voice and fax services over low-cost Internet Protocol (IP) networks. They can use a voice-enabled Cisco access server as the VoIP gateway to offer domestic and international long distance phone calls and real-time fax transmissions.
