The writing is tight, the plot gallops along, the atmosphere is intermittently spooky with truly chilling moments, the characterisation masterful" (Kerryn Goldsworthy, Australian 'Books of the Year') and if anyone can explain how I came to have two pristine copies of this on my bookshelf... obviously, from the time before Librarything....
