Leading European fashion photographer Hanspeter Schneider goes behind the scenes of Rio's notorious sex industry.

Blurring reportage and contrivance his images are dangerous, raw and at times shocking yet they allude to the glamour of the catwalk and the safety of the studio. The shots remain real but at the same time are posed, the subjects are prostitutes but, seen here, they are models.
