Not long after missionary David Filbeck, and his wife Deloris, arrived in Thailand in 1960, he was confronted with the questions, "Who was born first, Buddha or Jesus?" In the thinking of Thai Buddhists, because Buddhism is the older religion, it should also be the more respected religion.
