Yes I liked this book BUT that said, it is different to any other book I have read. It is my first book by a Portuguese author, so I am not sure if it is his particular writing style, or a typical Portuguese style. The paragraphs commonly have conversations between 2 people, separated only by commas, so one must really concentrate to follow the shifting to and fro..
My advice: try it. You'll either love it or hate it ... that's how it is.
