samharnold (United Kingdom) (2012/05/16): Review I do love a bloody good detective story with unconventional characters that teaches you something about the world. From this book I have learnt that there is a Protection and Repatriation Act that allows Native Americans to bury their dead ancestors. However, there is no such act to support aborigines. I also learnt a lot more, but to tell you would spoil your enjoyment of the book. This book the fourth offering from the author is as good as the previous three. All the normal characters are evident. There is also the mix of good old detective novel mixed with personally getting to know and investing in your characters. The story picks up a little less than a year from the last one and continues through the lives of the main characters. The author has an excellent way of allowing new readers to pick this book up and read it without having so many details that dedicated followers are bored by the flashbacks. Quickie Look 14% - God I love this series of books and so far this is as good as ever 21% - Brilliant so far as good as ever 47% - Brilliant, can't put it down but must sleep my eyes are dropping 100% - That's it finished and I couldn't even stop to comment. Have to wait for the next one now. Hope it is not too long
