WelshHelen (United Kingdom) (2009/07/24): The second book in the Gatekeepers series and this one was even better than the first. I loved the growing friendship between Matt and Pedro and the new characters - Atoc and Professor Chambers especially, fit in perfectly. I particularly enjoyed the explanation of the Nazca lines - something I'd love to see one day - which added to the 'intelligent' feel of the book. Horowitz certainly doesn't talk down to his readers, whether teens or adults.
Highly recommended and I'm looking forward to the next in the series.
