Written to satisfy wanderlust or arouse it, Erotic Travel Tales offers explicit erotic fiction set in evocative locales — from Kiev and the Sahara to Athens and the Amazon, from Barcelona and Paris to New Orleans and San Francisco. Amazon.com Review
Update your passport and embark on this round-the-world journey of wicked adventures. Further bedside reading from the author of Erotic Fairy Tales, Szereto's anthology brings together 21 stories of varying quality set in places as remote as the Himalayas and as familiar (to readers) as Venice and London. In Gerard Wozek's "Journey of My Hands," a young American writer makes his way in Paris by offering male-to-male massages to a series of eccentric Frenchmen. In Ann Dulaney's erotic gem, "Mitsuko," an earnest young housewife must find a way to make some expensive cuts of fresh salmon more appealing to her husband's boss, who has joined them for dinner. When the well-meaning Mitsuko finally determines how best to serve them, she is happy to note that "Mr. Miyataki's lips and tongue were skillful, as any general manager's should be." A diverting collection, with something for even the most jaded palate. --Regina Marler

Reviews: Hope (United Kingdom) (2007/11/12):
I've read better anthologies published by Cleis Press. The quality of the writing and editing is wildly variable. There are two or three stories that really stand out from this anthology as really good pieces of writing, and are a delight to read, and really capture the imagination. The rest were rather nondescript. It's a pity because other Cleis anthologies have managed to be full of superb pieces, and it is next to impossible to choose the best ones.
