In the 1600s, Lady Castlehaven charged her husband with rape and had his connubial rights--and head--removed. This book is great..very humorous, sometimes borderline sassy, but interesting!FROM THE BACK COVER:" 200 Daring damsels who dazzled the Dark Ages and rocked the Renaissance!" Very interesting, sometimes humorous short snippets of these women's lives, accomplishments. or insanity...according to men! You'll meet: a rent-a-ninja, an Arab queen with a Martha Stewart touch, an intrepid bear-slayer, and a nun turned top-gun, and a whole lot more!!
