galyn (USA: TX) (2012/06/03): I suppose this classifies as chick-lit romance, which I rarely read, but now and then pick up something girly like Sophie Kinsella's book or this, altho this is a bit darker and the problems are--well, more...problematic. Still, it's a romance, and we know that in the end everything's fine, when it comes to romances, which is why we read them. Despite all the ups and downs encountered along the way, everything will be alright--however things work out for the main characters. We just don't know beforehand what they'll have to work through to reach that point or how they'll do it or what the best end result for all parties involved will be. It's a fairly quick 'bubble-bath' read.
