Cindy (USA: NV) (2010/05/28): Great read - paranormal romance with a lot of action. Salvatore the King of the Werewolves finally gets a girl... [If you've been keeping up with the series, you know he has tried twice before only to be cut out by vampires.] There's a big difference here - this time he really wants her! A true werewolf mating hasn't occurred in centuries but something is rolling back the clock for Salvatore and his heroine, Harley. Since Harley has been raised to believe Salvatore would kill her and had already killed her sisters she is less than thrilled at the prospect. If only Salvatore wasn't so luscious... There are several bad guys - all the way from sort-of-bad but mostly mistaken Caine, through Briggs a [truly] rotten werewolf who is fronting for the really big bad, a demon lord who wants a way into this dimension...
As is usual with her books - most of the players from previous books have parts to play in the final resolution. Reading out of order can cause you to miss some important elements...
