Description: Product Description
Archaeologist Cammie Howard was after a priceless relic, more than a little perturbed when a sexy stranger tries to steal it out from under her. Okay, so Dante might have saved her life at the same time. But that didn't give him the right to take over, claiming demons and ancient curses and how only he could protect her from evil. She refuses to let his dark angelic looks sway her from her task-she won't give up control for Dante or any mysterious curse, no matter how he makes her feel. It only takes one stolen kiss to realize the clinical explanation of sex and human lust have little to do with the kaleidoscope of emotions and desires Dante experiences with Cammie. Their passion is all-consuming, erasing from his mind all thoughts of demons and cursed relics. Cammie's touch convinces him he's never lived before that moment. It's all new-the tastes and textures of her skin, the ache-such a pleasurable, throbbing pain of needing to possess her, and the joy that nearly tears his heart from his chest when he finally does. But there's a demon out there, silently threatening to destroy Cammie's world and erase any chance for her future happiness, with or without Dante. With Cammie's help, Dante must search deep within himself to learn if he has weakened himself by giving into lust, or empowered himself by falling in love. After all, the fate of the world depends on him.
Reviews: Cindy (USA: NV) (2009/04/05):
Paranormal fantasy with a lot of action - but had some 'say what?' moments. The characters are an angel, a demon and an archaeologist [all you need is a bar to take this a step farther:]. The angel is occasionally un-angelic, the archaeologist seems sadly unknowledgeable/uninterested in her areas of expertise [or perhaps it's the situation:], but the demon is happily demonic. A nice little read-once.
