Suzanne (USA: TX) (2009/07/16):
This book had me hooked from page 1. Charley is a newspaper columnist who writes about fluffy/frilly subject,i.e., Brazillian waxing, clothing, shoes, whatever's on her mind at the time. She, of course, gets fan mail daily. Some people like her;some don't. One particular email really grabs her attention when the writer tells her to "DIE, BITCH, DIE" and to watch very closely over your kids. She is also a single mother of 2 children. Several days later, another email comes her way that gets her attention. They would like her to write a book about a woman (Jill) who is on death row. The jury found her guilty for the murder of 3 children. Jill claims that she is innocent. Jill would like the world to know that she is innocent & to hear her version of the story. This book will have you laughing, crying and guessing until the end. At first, I thought which one was the killer/accomplice and several pages later, it will have you jumping to another conclusion. It was well written & this is the third book of Fielding that I have read. Can't wait to read more of hers.
