Dear Mom and Dad
We have finished the first part of our training. The spirit of the men is high. Last night we had dinner with command. It was quite an event. Our crew has been distinguished. I miss home cooking. I hope Wind and Zipper have been good, cooped up and all in the house. Our division will be moving to the front this spring. The flowers will be in bloom. I hope to get a weeks pass so I can come back home soon...
