Old roo-de-lally Mr Gum and hideous Billy William the Third are once more mucking things up for everyone. They're a-schemin' and a-hatchin' an' making their bad plans up on Goblin Mountain. Can the brave travellers make it past the Three Impossible Challenges of Goblin Mountain and save the town from a fate worse than something very bad indeed?

Description:
Shabba me whiskers This is barking bonkers...Well, that old roo-de-lally Mr Gum and the hideous Billy William the Third are once more mucking things up for everyone. They're a-schemin' and a-hatchin' an' making their bad plans up on Goblin Mountain. Can the wise old man Friday O'Leary and the small girl Polly make it past the Three Impossible Challenges of Goblin Mountain and save the town from a fate worse than something very bad indeed? In an epic tale of courage, valour and plain idiocy only one thing is sure: The truth is a lemon meringue!

What the papers say:
"The Bookseller said: 'A wickedly entertaining story for young readers... very funny and made me giggle out loud'; The Sunday Times said: 'Andy Stanton accumulates silliness and jokes in an irresistible, laughter-inducing romp'; Philip Ardagh for the Guardian said: 'Worryingly splendid'; Danny Baker from LBC Radio said: 'This is a riot, it is hilarious, it is brilliant... best book I've read in a long time.'"

Author's Biography:
Andy Stanton lives in North London. He studied English at Oxford but they kicked him out. He has been a stand-up comedian, a film script reader, a cartoonist, an NHS lackey and lots of other things. He has many interests, but best of all he likes Radio 4, books and music (even jazz). One day he'd like to live in New York or Berlin or one of those places because he's got fantasies of bohemia. His favourite expression is 'Please, sir' and his favourite word is 'proletariat'. This is his third book. David Tazzyman lives in South London with his girlfriend, Melanie, and their son, Stanley. He grew up in Leicester, studied illustration at Manchester Metropolitan University and then travelled around Asia for three years before moving to London in 1997. He likes football, cricket, biscuits, music and drawing. He dislikes celery.
