Robert Pleban (USA: FL) (2009/04/06): Breezy, and light-hearted. Less of an autobiography than a series of stories. But Newhart has been one of the most influential comedians, not just in stand-up, but on television, so this is worth a read.
Mike P (USA: IL) (2009/08/15): Having always been a fan of Bob Newhart over the years, I found this book to be very entertaining. Here Bob tells of how he broke into Comedy, first as what we now call Stand Up Comedy, then on television with his two hit series, Bob Newhart Show and Newhart.I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in Bob Newhart or even to those that want to read about older comedians.
Michelle (USA: AR) (2012/02/05): Could've been better. Wanted to hear more funny stories about The Stratford Inn and Larry, his brother Darrell and his other brother Darrell.
