The Now Playing roleplaying game shows you how to prepare and run your games the same way real TV scriptwriters write their episodes. This lets you act out any TV show in any genre and have it feel just like the real show! Now Playing is a standalone game that is easy to learn and play, and will provide endless hours of fun and excitement as you act out new episodes of your favorite shows. Now Playing can be played standalone, or can be used to add spice to other roleplaying games. The core book for the Now Playing roleplaying game presents the semi-formal system for crafting and running your TV show episodes so that the actors in the game will feel like they are in the show. It also includes its own generic Fudge roleplaying system that can be used to play any setting, not just TV shows. Now Playing includes “FPI,” a mini-setting of ghost hunting and paranormal investigation. Play episodes where you hunt for evidence of ghosts, or of Bigfoot and UFOs. Are they real, or just the product of an overactive imagination? And what will you do if they turn out to be real? FPI comes complete with a sample cast of characters, and two ready-to-run episodes.
