This book was pretty good. Sometimes it felt like it was trying too hard to be 'indie'- lots of shock value stuff, and some of the wording was really scene. but all in all, the queer themes were delivered honestly, and it's totally recommended by fans of asofterworld.com (the author is one of the creators).
